Role Objective
To oversee and manage end-to-end Middle East corporate travel operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, policy compliance, cost optimization, and traveler safety. This role acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for Middle East travel while leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing travel support team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Corporate Travel Operations
  • Supervise end-to-end corporate travel bookings including air, hotels, ground transportation, and ancillary services for Middle East and India regions
  • Ensure strict adherence to travel policies, SLAs, and quality standards
  • Manage complex itineraries, VIP travelers, last-minute requests, and schedule changes
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational and service-related issues
  • Conduct regular quality checks, service reviews, and feedback sessions
  • Identify gaps and develop corrective action plans to enhance service delivery
  • Lead invoicing query calls and ensure timely pack creation to enable accurate and on-time invoicing
  • Conduct weekly team meetings and circulate Minutes of Meeting (MoM)
  • Plan and manage projects by setting objectives, allocating tasks, monitoring progress, resolving conflicts, and mentoring team members

Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the key operational contact for Middle East corporate travel stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Address feedback proactively and implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Participate in service review meetings and support account retention initiatives

Process & People Management
  • Maintain updated process documentation, SOPs, and client requirement trackers
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of travel coordinators
  • Allocate workloads, monitor productivity, and ensure coverage across Middle East time zones
  • Conduct regular quality audits, performance reviews, and refresher training
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Middle East corporate travel operations

Supplier & Vendor Coordination
  • Manage Middle East travel suppliers including airlines, hotels, car rentals, payment solutions, and TMCs
  • Ensure contractual compliance and resolve supplier-related service issues
  • Conduct regular vendor review meetings to improve service quality and efficiency
  • Support implementation of new technologies and process enhancements

Cost Control & Reporting
  • Monitor and enforce best fare practices and cost-saving initiatives
  • Prepare operational and management reports on transactions, savings, KPIs, and policy compliance
  • Maintain KPI dashboards, cost-to-company reports, team observations, and monthly planners

Risk Management & Traveler Support
  • Ensure duty of care procedures are followed for Middle East travelers
  • Handle emergency situations including flight disruptions, regional unrest, or health alerts
  • Ensure accurate traveler tracking and timely communication during disruptions

Systems & Process Management
  • Ensure effective use of Online Booking Tools (OBTs) and GDS platforms
  • Support automation, system enhancements, and process improvements
  • Maintain data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance at all times

What We’re Looking For
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of Middle East / GCC corporate travel operations
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with GDS and OBT platforms
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder, and client-handling skills
  • Ability to manage escalations and high-pressure situations
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduate or equivalent qualification
  • 6–10 years of experience in corporate travel operations
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Proven experience supporting Middle East / GCC corporate clients
