Join NES Fircroft as an Accounts Assistant!
We are excited to offer a great opportunity for an AAccounts Assistant to join our Shared Service Centre based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This full-time role reports to the Shared Service Team Lead and plays a key role in supporting our regional finance operations through accurate cash receipting, account reconciliation, and stakeholder support.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform account analysis for Accounts Receivable, including posting and clearing incoming payments in Navision, in line with defined SLAs.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of AR accounts, following up on aged and outstanding items until resolution.
- Research customer accounts and transactions, responding to AR-related queries as required.
- Investigate and resolve unknown payments, unapplied remittances, and aged unallocated balances in the client ledger.
- Monitor customer collections and ensure timely posting of receipts in the system.
- Offset invoices and credit memos in accordance with remittances or instructions from Credit Controllers.
- Support cross-global activities to enable workload balancing within the team.
- Manage shared finance mailboxes and ensure all remittances are fully allocated.
- Ensure customer and internal queries are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
- Contribute to meeting team KPIs and assist with SLA and KPI reporting and analysis.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by ensuring accurate, timely service delivery and issue resolution.
- Maintain proper filing and accurate accounting records.
- Prepare payment and treasury-related documentation.
- Support internal control compliance and assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Team Lead.
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations, with exposure to Treasury.
- Experience with Navision ERP is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with initiative and a hands-on approach.
- Ability to liaise with auditors, bankers, and external accountants when required.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proactive, resourceful, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset with exposure to process improvement, change management, or project work.
